I BOUGHT THIS BIKE OFF MY BROTHER. HE HAS BEEN OUT OF WORK. HE PURCHASED THE BIKE NEW IN 88. THE PISTON AND RINGS WERE REPLACED BEFORE I RECIEVED THE BIKE. I REPLACED THE BRAKE PADS AND INSTALLED A NEW AIR FILTER, FMF FATTY GOLD SERIES HEADER AND HAD THE REAR SHOCK REDONE. THE CARB WAS SONIC CLEANED AND ITS EASY TO START. ITS BEEN STORED MOST OF ITS YEARS. I RODE IT TWICE THIS SUMMER AND I CAN SEE WHY IT WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN 1987. THE PLASTIC, FUEL TANK, AND SEAT ARE ALL ORIGINAL. MY BROTHER KEPT THE AIR SHROUDS FOR KEEP SAKE. I REPLACED THEM WITH MAIER AIR SHROUDS. IT DOES HAVE SOME CUSTOM PAINT. THE FRAME IS POWDER COATED. THE GUARDS ARE PAINTED BLACK WITH PLASTIC PAINT. I ENTERED THE BIKE IN A VINTAGE DIRT BIKE CLASS AT A SWAP MEET THIS SUMMER. BUT I FORGOT TO PICK UP THE STOCK AIR SHROUDS. THAT COST ME FIRST PLACE BECAUSE THE AIR SHROUDS WERE NOT STOCK. CHECK OUT THE PIC. THIS BIKE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. NADA PRICE GUIDE HAS ITS BLUE BOOK VALUE OVER $2000 FOR BEING IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. I WILL TAKE ANY REASONABLE OFFER FOR THE BIKE. THANKS FOR YOUR INTERST.
